Mercedes-Benz – Online Magazine

Premium content for a premium brand

DESIGNING AN ONLINE MAGAZINE FOR MERCEDES-BENZ

The 19 branches of Mercedes-Benz are the contact points between people and brand. For years, Territory has been telling stories about the branches, cars and people with 19 regional magazines, creating a bond with their existing customers and reaching new ones.

The magazine’s high-quality branded content is tailored to each region, and it was time to bring these stories online. I transferred the vibrant feel of the each branch to the digital surface, combined with the high-end quality and appearance of Mercedes-Benz.

We are publishing a wide range of stories – from the successful mountain biker Sofia Wiedenroth, to an interview with eccentric chef Stefan Marquard, to the nerdy tech-talk with our video blogging editors.

WELP GROUP – Corporate Website

High-tech Vehicles – Cutting-Edge UI-Design

SHAPING THE DIGITAL PRESENCE FOR THE WELP GROUP

As a UI Designer, I had the opportunity to contribute to the digital transformation of the WELP Group, a highly competent supplier and manufacturer of injection-moulding tools and plastic and metal components. With great flexibility and reliability, they cater to the automotive industry and other industrial and medical companies, delivering products that meet the highest demands.

I worked closely with the Corporate Design department to ensure a seamless digital experience, crafting an online style guide and digital corporate language that embodies the company’s values of quality, individuality, and uncompromising security. I designed a library of elements and modules, presenting my work to get approval and collaborating with the development team to bring my designs to life. From custom vehicles to protective equipment, my goal was to bring the WELP Group’s premium solutions to life in a digital format. My attention to detail and quality assurance ensured that the end result met the high standards set by the company

German Olympic Sports Confederation – Fan App

Explore, follow, cheer

CREATING AN APP TO CONNECT ATHLETES AND FANS

Explore, Follow, Cheer: this is how the app connects German Squad athletes with fans, and captures the power of cheering in a digital space for the first time.

We developed the App “Wir-für-Deutschland” (Us-for-Germany) for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

It offered an intuitive way for fans to interact directly with athletes, as well as a user-friendly database with information about the Olympic squad and their sports.

Wir für Deutschland - sport and fans.
Wir für Deutschland - Athlets and social media
Wir für Deutschland - News

I designed an interface that mimics the circular forms of the Olympics symbol using colours from the German flag. The project challenged me to combine these two worlds while maintaining an intuitive, easy-to-use interface.

Fans increased their “fan powers” by using the different functionalities of the app. Gamification lead to more involvement and higher usage.

Brillux Colore – Online Magazine Concept

How to experience colour online

VISUAL CONCEPT FOR A BRANDED ONLINE MAGAZINE

We created an online and print magazine for Brillux to bring them closer to their customers. The magazine targets architects and interior designers, offering them creative ways to incorporate high-quality Brillux products into their work.

The online magazine invites the target group to not only browse product samples, but to also take a closer look at detailed architectural characteristics and materials, and find inspiration in the stories of others working in their field.

Some features included linking Brillux products with a colour picker and showcasing related products.

The magazine uses an avant-garde aesthetic attractive to the artistic target group. In this design, I was challenged to combine this artistic style with a functional website using conversation-driving features.

Daimler – Online Magazine Concept

Bringing a journey to life

A STORYTELLING CONCEPT FOR DAIMLER FINANCIAL SERVICES

Daimler Financial Services has a strong and diverse team in 40 countries. With more than 12,000 employees worldwide, Daimler has a lot of stories, and we are creating a UI to tell them.

Layered with different types of visual content – including scribbles, pictures, short videos and audio clips – we’re using different techniques to create a vivid storytelling experience and foster a team spirit among employees.

The UI matches corporate design requirements and can be adjusted depending on what each story needs.

A travel journal

The concept visualizes a story about employees participating in the desert rally Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc.
We created a digital travel journal with short personal memos, photos, moving sketches, short audio clips, and a map to help orient the reader.

ONLINE-SHOP FOR THE BIGGEST ECOLOGICAL MAIL ORDER BUSINESS IN GERMANY

“Waschbär” (Raccoon) means sustainability.

Our redesign established the online shop as a marketplace for everyday life that helps consumers make environmentally-friendly decisions.

The home page design reflects this idea. Arranging teasers with featured items in an attractive, scenic presentation – without dominating hero products – showcases the variety of product groups to choose from.

The site design illustrates the company’s varied merchandise, while typography, colour scheme, style and pattern reflect the conscious green, eco-friendly brand.
